Lee-Anne McAulay
Wednesday 17th June
Craws Nest Collective, Edinburgh
|
Lee-Anne lives, works and writes in Central Scotland where she shares her home with 4 cats, 2 teenagers and 1 husband. Her life long love of stories led her to take an English Degree and, from there, to an 18 year (and counting!) career as a teacher.
When not writing at her vintage bureau Lee-Anne loves reading (preferably with tea and cake) and exploring the beautiful Scottish landscapes she finds so inspiring.
Echoes on a Fractal Line is the story of four women caught in conflicts that echo through the ages. In the present, two women collaborate on a project to bring to life the stories of ordinary people caught up in significant events of the past and in 1715 a widowed healer clashes with the wife of the man charged with defending the clan seat of power. All four face challenges and their loyalties are tested. What will they risk to protect those they love?

After five-star reviews and multiple sell-out shows, the coven is back at The Fringe for the third year running!
I've seen this show twice and will be going back for more!

Eleanor Morton
Our North Berwick guest this month also has a Fringe show this summer.
Fresh from her new show on BBC Radio 4, award-winning comedian Eleanor Morton returns with a show all about mermaids and why she wants to be one, even though she can't swim. A show all about wanting to be beautiful, mythology, 2000s magazine sex tips, rat boyfriends, James Cameron's submarine and justice for Nicola Roberts.

I saw the work in progress show and LOVED it.
